Christmas Greeting

I write to you all from Bath in England, outside the temperature is -1 degree. There is ice on the ground and it is cold. We have visited numerous Cathedrals, Abbeys, and churches and have had opportunities to attend a couple of carol services and sing all sorts of carols about snow and cold and it all makes a lot of more sense now. The wonderful decorations with bright colours and evergreen trees certainly
stand out against the drab leafless trees and grey skies. It is a real celebration of the coming of Emmanuel displayed in colour and lights, no different from our own
displays at home. But, no matter where you are at Christmas, the Birth of the Christ child is celebrated with hope and joy, with the promise of the newness of God coming into our hearts and lives once again. May you all know the promise of the Christ child anew this Christmas and may you and your families have a blessed Christmas and a joyous new year.

God bless from the wandering Guntons.
